Skippack, PA – H&K Group, Inc. (H&K) is proud to announce full support and endorsement of National Work Zone Awareness Week 2019 (NWZAW) which will occur during the second week of April (8th – 12th).
NWZAW is held each year at the beginning of the road construction season to spread awareness of the importance of Work Zone Safety. The event is held nationwide, and each year a state department of transportation (DOT) hosts a media kickoff event for NWZAW.
Partnering with member organization, The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA), who launched the WatchForUS (www.WatchFor.us) public awareness campaign in 2018 to promote NWZAW, H&K will build upon and reemphasize existing roadway safety training programs with its employees through the week of April 8. In addition, the company will also publish and share Work Zone Safety media through its web and social media outlets throughout the week as a means of sharing and amplifying NWZAW awareness. These efforts have all been designed to not only protect our most vital asset, our employees, but also the traveling public within H&K’s Work Zones.

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) is the only trade association that exclusively represents the interests of the asphalt pavement material producer and paving contractor on the national level with Congress, government agencies, and other national trade and business organizations.
