H&K GROUP, INC. RANKS 83RD ON FORBES 2024 ‘AMERICA’S BEST MIDSIZE EMPLOYERS’ LIST

Skippack, PA – We are thrilled to announce that H&K Group, Inc. (H&K) recently ranked 83rd among the nation’s top 400 best midsize employers according to Forbes Media (Forbes).

In an article published on February 13, 2024, titled "America’s Best Midsize Employers," Forbes presented a comprehensive list of the top 400 midsize companies in the nation, with H&K ranking 83rd among comparative companies. Conducted in partnership with market research firm Statista, Forbes surveyed over 170,000 U.S.-based workers at American companies. Organizations with 1,000 to 5,000 employees were classified as “midsize” employers, while companies with over 5,000 employees were considered “large.” To see the complete Forbes list, CLICK HERE.

It is interesting to note that among the top-performing midsize employers in Pennsylvania, H&K ranked third and was the only heavy civil contracting and construction materials company to make this state-based Forbes ranking. Within Pennsylvania, H&K was outpaced by Utz Quality Foods, which ranked 9th nationally, and Teleflex, which ranked 48th. Coming in just below H&K on this state list was Capital Blue Cross, which placed 153rd nationally. As this employer list shows, H&K is a well-respected company at both the state and national levels.

In the survey, respondents were asked to rate their current employer and whether they would recommend their employer to others. Survey criteria included only current employees, employees with at least two years of employment, and employees familiar with their employer through friends, family, or peers within the industry. Other survey metrics included greater weighting for surveys conducted by current and former employees, as well as heavier data weighting for companies that consistently rate well. As with all Forbes lists, companies do not pay fees to participate or be considered in the ranking process.
