Rushland, PA – The H&K Group, a leader in the construction materials and site contracting industries, is pleased to announce the addition of Miller Materials, LLC (Miller Materials), located in Rushland, PA, into its network of over 80 locations throughout eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware. Miller Materials offers quarried or crushed stone aggregates, asphalt and the area’s only inbound clean fill site. This addition expands upon the existing partnership between The H&K Group and Miller and Sons Paving Inc., which had previously included Plumstead Materials, located in Plumstead, Upper Bucks County, PA, Naceville Materials of West Rockhill Township, Central Bucks County, PA, Foster Materials of Tremont, Schuylkill County, PA and Coopersburg Materials of Coopersburg, Upper Bucks County, PA.
Miller Materials, a Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection permitted surface mining operation, produces a variety of high-quality argillite stone construction aggregates. These PennDOT and NJDOT approved construction aggregates are available for haul-away or delivery. Drawing from the crushed stone operation, Miller Materials’ asphalt plant offers PennDOT and NJDOT approved SUPERPAVE and Marshall asphalt mixes. This facility features on-site technicians to ensure quality control, and two 200-ton storage silos, for quick batch disbursement and shorter loading times.
Miller Materials also accepts inbound clean fill, meaning uncontaminated soil, rock, stone, gravel and used asphalt, as well as brick, block and concrete with no painted surfaces, and block and concrete containing metal internally, so long as no metal is exposed. The presence of the area’s only clean fill facility on-site makes Miller Materials an extremely convenient one-stop shop for dumping and construction materials. The ability to bring in clean fill debris and back-haul construction materials in the same trip, from the same location, is an immediate way to save both time and money on nearly every job. A Clean Fill Pre-Acceptance Form is now available online to provide further time savings, as reclamation fill source information is required prior to the dumping of any material, at any clean fill site.
