Pyramid Quarry is also a trusted H&K inbound Reclamation Fill (previously “Clean Fill”) acceptance location, providing vital support to civil contractors throughout the region who require the use of a permitted fill placement site.
OUR AGGREGATE:
The underlying metamorphic gray gneiss extracted at Pyramid Quarry provides an excellent base or subbase product finding application in virtually all civil construction projects. All materials produced at this operation are suitable for use in compacted subbase applications as well as general construction use. Our 2A aggregate product maintains certification by the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware Departments of Transportation (PennDOT, NJDOT and DelDOT) as well as the Maryland State Highway Administration (MDSHA).
INBOUND RECLAMATION FILL:
In addition to producing high quality construction aggregate,
Pyramid Quarry also accepts inbound or import Reclamation Fill material. Formerly referred to as “Clean Fill,” these materials may be imported to
Pyramid Quarry for general fill or, in our case, reclamation backfill purposes. These inbound Reclamation Fill materials must meet specific environmental criteria in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection rules and regulations. Our qualified staff will guide you through the inbound or import fill protocol and pricing structure is required.

NOTE:
Pyramid Quarry only accepts Reclamation Fill including: uncontaminated soil, rock and gravel, brick (non-painted), block (non-painted), concrete (non-painted and no rebar more than 2") and asphalt chunks.

Important: If you propose to import materials for use in reclamation please complete a Reclamation Fill Source Approval Information Sheet found at www.cleanfill.com. These documents are required for any inbound source of fill.
