The H&K Group Family of Companies are committed to preserving our environment and conserving natural resources.  By recycling construction materials, we reduce the disposal of usable products into landfills, where space is limited.  Our recycling facilities operate under Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) guidelines and we strive to be good neighbors in the communities that we serve. 

Our Clean fill locations accept soil, dirt, and other materials deemed to be clean fill by the PADEP.  Our asphalt plants accept asphalt millings and broken asphalt chunks that are then recycled into new asphalt products.  Most of our quarries accept concrete and block which can be recycled into road base material.  At specific locations, we also accept clearing and grubbing material that is recycled into mulch at our processing facilities.
