H&K Group Sponsored ARCA Car Finishes Strong in ARCA ModSpace 125 Fitting Homage to Fallen Troopers

Long Pond, PA (August 1, 2014) – After positioning his Chevy Impala twelfth on the grid of Pocono Raceway’s ModSpace 125 early Friday evening in Long Pond, PA, driver Nick Igdalsky went on to finish a strong sixth in a field of 31 other ARCA drivers.

Igdalsky, Pocono Raceway’s Chief Operating Officer, and grandson of Pocono Raceway’s founder, the late Dr. Joseph Mattioli, took time prior to start of the ModSpace 125 to officially unveil his 2014 Fox Motorsports’ ARCA car, which once again honors Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Fallen Troopers.  Proudly bearing the PSP patch on the hood of the car, Nick Igdalsky once again teamed up with the PSP and primary sponsor, The H&K Group, to honor local PSP trooper, Joshua Miller, who was killed in the line of duty in 2009.

On hand to share in the pre-race unveiling of Igdalsky’s No. 86 were several PSP Troopers, Maria Finn, PSP Press Secretary, and James T. Haines and his wife, Pam, representing The H&K Group.  Mr. Haines, Chief Operating Officer of Haines & Kibblehouse, Inc. and The H&K Group Family of Companies, was honored to once again have the privilege to co-sponsor the Fox Motorsports car for such a worthy and poignant cause and remembrance.  When asked to comment on this year’s ARCA vehicle and the unveiling, Mr. Haines stated, “The H&K Group is extremely proud to once again be associated with the PSP, Nick Igdalsky and Pocono Raceway, Fox Motorsports and all of the other fine co-sponsors of this year’s ARCA car.  The car truly looks the part this year and is a fitting remembrance to those troopers that it honors.”

The H&K Group was presented the opportunity to sponsor the vehicle due to a near two-decade long business relationship with Pocono Raceway. The H&K Group paved the famous tri-oval track in 1995, and then performed complete reconstruction and paving of the track during the 2012 off-season.  The group has subsequently performed site work and paving on the raceway’s infield road course.
