Douglassville PA s RINOX facility setting sights on strong 2006 production year

RINOX is extremely proud to enter their first full spring production season since
breaking ground on their stateoftheart Douglassville, PA manufacturing facility in late
2004. Easily recognizable from Benjamin Franklin Highway by its large blue RINOX
Rhino logo, this 35,000 square foot facility is the first facility of its kind in the United
States to produce RINOX’ s “tumbled” concrete pavers and retaining wall units.
RINOX, a Canadianbased company, presently operates two other manufacturing
facilities of this kind in Canada. Rinox Pavers, LLC is a trusted member of The H&K
Group™ family of companies.

Located on Quarry Road in Douglass Township’s new Trap Rock Business Center
complex, RINOX is a leading manufacture of concrete paving stones, retaining walls and
masonry products. RINOX currently distributes to retailers up and down the east coast
from their Douglassville manufacturing location. RINOX’ s Douglassville facility will
utilize raw materials from Reading Materials Inc.’s adjacent Douglassville Quarry to
produce the highest quality hardscaping products available in the industry.

RINOX has enjoyed rapid growth and overwhelming acceptance into the concrete paving
stone marketplace leading up to its Douglassville, PA expansion project. Currently there
are over 45 people employed at the Douglassville location alone, and the number is
expected to grow according to Ira Vosper (General Manager of RINOX). “Douglassville
was an excellent choice for RINOX for both the proximity to the natural resources and
ability to distribute to our customer base” said Vosper.
